Microsuction ear wax removal , a meticulously controlled procedure, allows us to directly visualize the ear canal and wax removal process through a microscope. In cases where the wax is soft and there are no complications, we may employ the irrigation method, utilizing water to flush out any remaining wax.

Excessive earwax accumulation can result from various factors such as narrow or hairy ear canals, sharp bends, and regular use of earbuds or hearing aids. This wax, produced by the oil cerumen in the outer ear, can mix with skin debris, airborne particles, and dust.

Blockages caused by earwax can lead to symptoms including hearing loss, tinnitus, itchiness, earaches, vertigo (dizziness), and infections.

We advise all our patients to use olive oil for several days before their appointment to soften the wax, though it's not always necessary. If removal is unsuccessful during the initial visit, we'll reschedule the appointment for one week later, allowing time for the wax to soften. We only charge for the initial visit, ensuring our clients receive the care they need without financial burden.
